A Rich Tapestry


Frédérique Morrel's vintage tapestries are the skin for her sculptures of people, animals, trophy heads and home wares. The sculptures themselves are fiberglass molds injected with expanding foam, reinforced with steel rods.
She has three series of these sculptures.
Below are life sized human figures from the G.Host series.


The Visitors consist of life sized animals covered in vintage tapestry and needlpoint and accented with real antlers, horns and hooves.

Her Passe-Murailles are wall mounted trophy heads.
